Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) took over the one-month rotating presidency over the UN Security Council (SC) on January 1.

Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) took over the one-month rotating presidency over the UN Security Council (SC) on January 1.

BiH has not yet established new authorities after the general elections held in October 2010.Moreover, BiH is the only country in the UN which is under the international protectorate.

President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik qualified as farce and absurdity the fact that a country, which is under the international protectorate, has taken over the UN SC presidency.

Other RS politicians have taken similar negative positions toward BiH's presidency over the UN SC.
