The main priority of Borissov's  visit is to enhance cooperation with the new government of Japan, to present Bulgaria’s increased capacity as a trade and investment partner and to attract the interest of the Japanese business in Bulgaria.

The main priority of my visit is to enhance cooperation with the new government of Japan, to present Bulgaria’s increased capacity as a trade and investment partner and to attract the interest of the Japanese business in Bulgaria.

This was part of the address of PM Boyko Borissov who on the first night of his Japan visit (from 22 to 26 Jan.) joined a working dinner given by the president of Meiji Dairies Corporation.

The corporation is a leader on the Japanese yoghurt market and since 1973 has been selling Meiji Bulgaria Yoghurt.

Today its market share stands at 40 percent, and the annual output of the products with the brand comes to 200,000 tons.
