Global Markets: Albania lead economic growth in Europe

From 2007 Albania has the best economic growth in Europe. Investments in Albania have increased.
Tourism in Albania also had the best increase in the world with 42% growth in 2010 and is estimated to hit a record in 2011.

Albanian exports rose by 38 percent from January to April. Albania exported more, metals, petroleum , footwear and textiles. Albania exports totaled to 478 million euro for the January-April 2011, from 347 million in the same period 2010.

Exports of energy and base minerals increased by 55 per cent this year as commodity prices jumped in the international market. Energy and minerals contributed to 31 per cent of the country’s total exports.

The share of construction materials and metals in exports increased this year to 22 per cent from 18 per cent this year due to increased exports of cement. Albania to embrace ambitious plans to power Albania on renewable sources of energy.

Albanian Government has paved the way for millions to be invested for green power projects.
The Albanian Government lead by Prime Minister Sali Berisha approved a fiscal package in 2007 that included implementing a 10% flat tax for corporate and personal income.

Albania has lowest level of taxes in Europe. The Albanian Government moved on creating a friendlier investment climate, creating jobs, and making the economy more competitive.

What a shame...who ever wrote that I'm sure has no clue of how much the majority of people in Albania doesn't have enough money to put food in the table and that is thanks to the prime Minister Berisha.
