The three biggest opposition parties in Montenegro submitted draft amendments to the Constitution, which would make Serbian the official language, the tricolor the official flag and stipluate Judicial Council members are elected by a two-thirds majority in the parliament.
The 28 MPs from the Serb People's Party (SNP), the New Serb Democracy (NSD) and the Movement for Changes (PzP) who sponsored the draft amendments believe that "conflicts on identity issues still exist because the government is abusing the Constitution."
They recall that the Constitution declares Montenegrin is the official language in the country, the Cyrillic and Latin alphabets are equal, and that Serbian, Bosnian, Albanian and Croatian languages are also in official use.
The opposition wants a new article added to the Constitution, which would stipulate that "if a population census shows any of the languages in official use is spoken by a majority of the population, it becomes the official language."
Another draft amendment calls for the trilocolor as the national flag of Montenegro, and striking the two-year residency rule for voting rights. Members of the Judicial Council should be elected by a two-thirds majority in the parliament, and there should be no statute of limitations on organized crime and corruption, believe the amendment sponsors.

Would Serbia just please go away. They've caused and are still causing problems for many people in the world. If the self declared "serbs" in Montenegro dont like it there....they should just move to Serbia. There they can enjoy Serbian as the "official" language and as much ethnic cleansing as they want.

The second post is so, um, logical: cleanse yourself, because you're such big ethnic cleansers.
