Blizzards accompanied by very low temperatures continues to make the situation difficult for the entire Balkan region.

Montenegro was struck by a new cold wave, accompanied by extremely low temperatures and strong wind. The north of the country is in a particularly difficult situation where the majority of roads are impassable, and almost all villages on that territory are snow gripped. The Podgorica airport is once again closed for traffic due to stormy wind.

Snow is continuously falling in Macedonia as well, creating traffic problems.

The situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina is similar, where many villages are cut off and blocked due to snow.

Croatia continues to struggle with numerous problems caused by extreme winter conditions - heavy snow and low temperatures.

The entire region is having problems with electricity supply.

In Romania, weather conditions are very bad, and due to strong wind in the Black Sea, ports are also closed.

Snow is still falling in Bulgaria as well, and there are snowdrifts across the country. The Varna Port is closed, as well as some border crossings towards Romania and Greece.
