Film that is most talked about and caused controversy, debut of Angelina Jolie as a director and writer ''In the Land of Blood and Honey'' had its regional premiere last night at the Olympic hall ''Zetra'' in front of 5.000 viewers.

Angelina Jolie attended the premiere accompanied by her partner Brad Pitt and members of the cast - Zana Marjanovic, Vanesa Glodjo, Goran Kostic, Rade Serbedzija, Ermin Bravo, Boris Ler, Jasna Ornela Bery, Ermin Sijamija...

Central story of the film between Ajla (Bosniak) and Danijel (Serb) which starts in BiH before the war but it ends during the war caused a lot of controversy.

They meet in a camp where Danijel is a Serb soldier and Ajla is a captive. Danijel becomes Ajla’s protector and emotions are developed between them.

Jolie put the focus of the film on emotions intertwining through three basic relations – of a Muslim girl Ajla and Serb soldier Danijel, Ajla and her sister Lejla and Danijel and his father Nebojsa.

On the occasion of statements she wants to accuse one (Serb) party with her film and that she is dealing with ''inappropriate relations'' Jolie emphasized on numerous occasions that she wanted to show war is senseless.

She also wanted to point to lack of interest of international community.

Brutal and cruel scenes can be seen in the film.

Relation audience – film according to those scenes is maybe the closest to the relation international community had towards war events in BiH. It was like there was an ugly film scene in front of ot and it only waited for it to end.

Angelina Jolie welcomed Sarajevo audience at the beginning and the end of the film.

Moved, Jolie stated this is a film which means a lot to her and she made it with love.

Angelina Jolie had the best intentions and she managed to shake everyone who watched the film but also to remind what happens when those who can do not react on time.
