Explaining the policy of the government in support of Bulgaria’s economy, PM Boyko Borissov said in parliament that the national economy could be encouraged by steering the business towards sectors that generate higher added value, by increasing exports and providing for new markets.

Explaining the policy of the government in support of Bulgaria’s economy, PM Boyko Borissov said in parliament that the national economy could be encouraged by steering the business towards sectors that generate higher added value, by increasing exports and providing for new markets.

The cabinet supports domestic demand, improves the efficiency in EU funds absorption and keeps a low level of taxes and fees, the prime minister went on to say and confirmed that it was possible to move to a cut in VAT at the end of the government’s term of office.
