Easter means lots of changes in public transport timetables: here's what you need to know

Buses

On Saturday, buses will be gradually withdrawn from service to return to depot by 11pm. The Sunday timetable will apply to all schedules on Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, while the Saturday schedule will apply on Good Friday and Easter Tuesday. No night services after 10pm on Saturday, with the exception of the 040 which will run after 1am on Easter Sunday. Airport services as usual.

Trolleys

On Saturday, trolleys will be gradually withdrawn from service to return to depot from 10pm. The Sunday timetable will apply to all schedules on Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, while the Saturday schedule will apply on Easter Tuesday. There will be no route 11 night service on Saturday or Easter Sunday, and no route 7 and 8 services on Easter Sunday and Monday.

Metro (red and blue lines)

On Good Friday, all routes will run at seven-minute intervals. No night services. On Saturday, all services will run at ten-minute intervals. Last trains from: Ag Antonios 10.45pm, Ag Dimitrios, 10.45pm, Douk Plakentias 10.37pm, Egaleo-Plakentias 10.47pm, Egaleo-Airport 9.25pm, Airport 10.03pm and Syntagma 11pm. On Easter Sunday and Monday, the red line will run on 12-minute intervals, the blue on 10-minute intervals.

Ilektrikos (green line)

Trains will run every 10 minutes on Good Friday and Saturday. On Easter Sunday and Monday, trains will run at 12-minute intervals. On Saturday, the last trains are: Piraeus 10.20pm, Kifisia 10.20pm, Omonia to Piraeus at 10.52pm and to Kifisa at 10.39pm.

Trams

Trams will run every 20-25 minutes on Good Friday and Easter Tuesday, every 25 minutes on Saturday and every 30 minutes on Easter Sunday and Monday. Last services: Syntagma-SEF 9.52pm, Syntagma-Voula 9.40pm, Syntagma-Ag Kosmas 2nd stop 10.30pm.
