Macedonian, Albanian Presidents open fair of domestic products and foreign investments

Macedonian, Albanian Presidents Gjorge Ivanov and Bamir Topi respectively opened Friday in Skopje the second regional fair Domestic Products and Foreign Investments, organized by the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia.

Ivanov extended gratitude to the fair participants and organizers for displaying various domestic products and their promotion beyond Macedonia's borders. Topi on his part underlined the significance of bolstering the regional economic cooperation and trade exchange.

The opening ceremony saw the attendance of Economy Minister Valon Saraqini, the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia Chairman, Menderes Kuci, and the Alliance of Kosovo Business Chairman, Agim Shahini.

Participants in the event, being held under the slogan 'Buy Domestic Products', agreed that the regional economic cooperation would be the best tool for dealing with the global crisis.

Macedonia is open for cooperation with all countries, including Albania and Kosovo, Saraqini said.

"Such events will certainly contribute to boosting the regional economic cooperation, which is our way out of the crisis," he added.

It will make the SEE countries more competitive, attract foreign investments and open new jobs in the region, Saraqini said
