Construction of a new plant situated at the technological and industrial development zone Skopje 1 (TIRZ1) next week and start of operations in three factories in late May or early June were announced Sunday by PM Nikola Gruevski upon his visit to the Institute of Gerontology in Skopje.

The new plant is a 10-million euro investment by a multinational company that has already invested in Macedonia, but Gruevski declined to reveal its name.

The Premier informed that by the end of May or in early June, "Kemet Electronics" will launch its operations as well as the Swiss factory for production of windmills. Preparations are under way allowing Italian company TeknoHose to start manufacturing.

Gruevski said that other investments were being realising.
