President Plevneliev met representatives of leading American companies

During a meeting in San Jose at NASA and with representatives of leading American technological firms like Google, Hewlett Packard and Cisco, the President suggested partnership on the part of Bulgaria’s government and the state in the working out of a concept and the fulfillment of the project Sofia Tech Park.

The tour of ban President Rossen Plevneliev in the USA continues.

During a meeting in San Jose at NASA and with representatives of leading American technological firms like Google, Hewlett Packard and Cisco, the President suggested partnership on the part of Bulgaria’s government and the state in the working out of a concept and the fulfillment of the project Sofia Tech Park.

According to him the technological park will be the platform for entrepreneurship and innovations in the sphere of information and communication technologies. The platform is financially secured through EU funds under the Competitiveness Operational Programme.

The companies with whose representatives Plevneliev had talks appeared very well acquainted with Bulgaria’s potential. The presidential tour continues with a visit to Chicago.
