Famous actor Ralph Fiennes, who will shoot his directorial debut, Coriolanus, said in Belgrade that he decided to shoot the film in the capital of Serbia because of the specific spirit of the city.

He told a press conference that he is been preparing contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare's play in which he will play the title character, and announced that the filming will start on March 17 and last for two months in Belgrade and its surroundings.

Fiennes said that Belgrade is the best location for the interpretation of Coriolanus, because, as he said, has the weight of a capital and the architecture which reflects a great history. A few Serbian artists will also play in the movie.
