Albin Kurti is accused of participating in a crowd committing a criminal offence; participating in a group obstructing official persons in performing the official duties. The prosecution announced last week that it would to withdraw the third charge, namely calling for resistance.
Yesterday, at the District Court of Pristina, the trial of Albin Kurti was adjourned until Tuesday 4 May, 9 a.m.
This was because the defendant was not present in court despite the arrest order by the presiding judge issued last week. The court will issue a new order today to compel Albin Kurti to be present at the next hearing.
In addition the lawyers appointed ex officio did not show up in the court, thereby violating their official duties.
