Djelic to open “Danube Conference of Future Leaders”

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic will open a “Danube Conference of Future Leaders” at 10.00 on 9 July, the second day of the EXIT festival, at the Novi Sad Museum in Petrovaradin Fort.

Young leaders who have already proved themselves in sectors included in the EU Danube Strategy will take part in the conference.

The goal is to gather future leaders from the Danube region in one place and promote some of the EU Danube Strategy’s key ideas.

Apart from Djelic, President of the Vojvodina Executive Council Bojan Pajtic will also give a commencement address. The event will be attended by representatives of the European Commission, ambassadors of the Danube region countries, as well as representatives from public administration, local self-government and the NGO sector.

The conference will be held under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, who is also the national coordinator of the Danube Strategy for Serbia.
