The Music Festival "Exit" begins tonight at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad.

Over the next four days more than 600 performers from the country and abroad will perform at 25 stages. Organizers expect more than 40,000 visitors every night, of whom a large number from abroad.

Most foreigners are traditionally coming from the United Kingdom, and this year the great interest for the festival existed in the Netherlands, Scandinavian countries, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, and New Zealand.

The Festival gates open at 5 PM every day, and close at 3 AM, after which it is not possible to enter the fortress.

Entry points will be controlled by the police to prevent visitors from bringing prohibited items and substances to the festival.
