Professor of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science, Predrag Simic, said that Serbian officials should consult with the European Union in order to change the text of the resolution on Kosovo and Metohija that would be acceptable to Serbia.

Professor of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science, Predrag Simic, said that Serbian officials should consult with the European Union in order to change the text of the resolution on Kosovo and Metohija that would be acceptable to Serbia.

"I think that at this point, it is very important to maintain a dialogue with the Union and seek compromise to the extent possible," Simic told the Tanjug news agency.

He added that the debate on the resolution is an important moment for Serbia, because, as he explained, these are two principal goals of Serbian foreign policy - protection of territorial integrity and the process of the EU accession.
