In mountain region around the city of Uzice, western Serbia, it has been snowing since last night, and the layer of snow is now eight centimeters thick.

All traveling routes in this region are passable for traffic, but the police is warning the drivers to drive cautiously because of the wet snow on the road and the fog, which decreases visibility significantly. Police also stresses that the use of winter equipment is necessary for all the vehicles traveling through that region.

Snowfall is still moderate in the mountain region around Uzice, Meteorological station at Zlatibor confirms for Tanjug.
