Koha Ditore reports that the Ambassador of Great Britain in Belgrade, Stephen Wordsworth, while answering the question whether it is realistic to open again the status issue in the Pristina–Belgrade dialogue, said to the Serbian daily Danas that a majority of the issues in Kosovo are related to status.

“Belgrade and Pristina have realized that discussions on simple issues should start, once they are used to meetings and discussions, they can also discuss more complicated issues,” said Wordsworth.

According to him, discussions will not be easy. Therefore, it is important for the discussions to start soon and for the both parties to try to resolve the issues in a constructive manner.

“However, from our point of view, considering the ICJ opinion, respectively the fact that a majority of EU and OSCE member states have recognized Kosovo, discussion on existence of Kosovo is not on the agenda.”
