Extremely important for the stabilisation of HIP-Petrohemija’s operations is its long-term contract on business and technical collaboration with the petroleum company Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS), providing constant supply of raw materials.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic announced today that the Ministry will provide

the funding for investment in HIP-Petrohemija Pancevo next year, which will allow an increase of the company’s production and exports.

Marking the company’s 33rd anniversary, he said that the goal of HIP-Petrohemija is to increase production and exports, which is possible only through investment.

He congratulated the management and employees as, with the support of government measures, the company has returned among the top five exporters in Serbia, with exports worth around €200 million in 2010.
