Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz will arrive in Belgrade on Monday and on Tuesday will have talks with Serbian authorities on the topic of of search for the remaining two fugitives, Ratko Mladić and Goran Hadžić.
Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz will arrive in Belgrade on Monday and on Tuesday will have talks with Serbian authorities on the topic of of search for the remaining two fugitives, Ratko Mladić and Goran Hadžić.
His representative Frederic Swinnen assessed that visit as technical, but very important, adding it will be dedicated to operative issues, above all. On Tuesday, Brammertz will have talks with Serbian President Boris Tadic, the head of the National Council for Cooperation with the Tribunal, Rasim Ljajic and War Crime Prosecutor Vladimir Vukčević.
Swinnen also said that, pending the submission of a regular report to the UN SC in June, in which he is to assess Belgrade’s cooperation, Brammertz will pay a visit to Serbia once more, probably in May.
