Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic said today that the investments of Serbia amounting to nearly €250 million annually in Kosovo-Metohija will continue, which is in accordance with the law and under full control.

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic said today that the investments of Serbia amounting to nearly €250 million annually in Kosovo-Metohija will continue, which is in accordance with the law and under full control.

Bogdanovic told Tanjug news agency that this includes salaries, pensions, social benefits and capital investment, and recalled that after assuming the office of the Minister he ordered the control of all money transfers.

Tenders for capital investments are now required, and the Ministry has reduced the cost of construction of apartments, houses and kindergartens to around €300 per square metre.

These data can be checked, everything is done in a transparent manner, the buildings are being finished and there is no fraud and abuse, said the Minister.

He reiterated that Serbia will continue to fight for its southern province, as well as to invest in the area, taking account of where every dinar goes.

We will also continue cooperation with international missions and organisations operating in Kosovo-Metohija, as well as with Albanians, in order to solve existing problems, he said.
