Over 1,500 people in Serbia support Japan on Facebook

Over 1,500 people in Serbia showed their support to Japan by joining the Solidarity with Japan group on Facebook in only 12 hours, the Domino magazine said Tuesday.

Over 1,500 people in Serbia showed their support to Japan by joining the Solidarity with Japan group on Facebook in only 12 hours, the Domino magazine said Tuesday.

Noting that Japan has been helping Serbia on many occasions in the past years, the organizers urged all Facebook users to support the effort and pay contributions to the aid to the Japanese people through Serbia's Red Cross.

Those who cannot make financial donations are invited to send messages to express their support to the Japanese people in their worst plight since World War II.
