Dinar weakens against euro by 8 paras

On Wednesday, the dinar will slightly weaken against the euro, by 8 paras, thus setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 102.6483, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) released.

The dinar hit its highest level against the euro this year on Tuesday, March 15, when the official middle exchange rate was RSD 102.5674, and its lowest on January 6 with the exchange rate at RSD 106.4947.
In 2011, the central bank has intervened in the interbank foreign exchange market only once when it purchased EUR 5 million in order to ease excessive daily volatility of the exchange rate.
