The Belgrade District Court has temporarily banned the company Worldfin from managing or selling the realties of Luka Beograd, the company in charge of the Belgrade port, until the trial between that company and the city of Belgrade is resolved, court spokesperson Dusica Ristic has told Tanjug.
The decision was made May 16 and the parties involved have the option to appeal it within 15 days of receiving the order, she explained.
The Belgrade authorities filed a lawsuit against Luka Beograd to determine the ownership of certain property, Ristic stated.
According to her, a preliminary hearing regarding that case is set for June 29.
The Belgrade Court of Appeal repealed the same decision by the Disrict Court back in April and ordered a restart of the proceedings.
The owner of Worldfin is Milan Beko, who is facing charges filed by the Anti-Cooruption Council on suspicion of illegal dealings in acquiring Luka Beograd.
