Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Serge Brammertz will inform the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) about the new circumstances in the cooperation between Serbia and the ICTY given the capture of Ratko Mladic, Tanjug was told in Brammertz's office.
The prosecutor will not change his report on Serbia's cooperation with the ICTY since the document has already been submitted to the UN, but he will inform the UNSC on the new circumstances regarding the capture of Ratko Mladic at the session scheduled for June 6, Brammertz's special advisor Frederick Swinnen told Tanjug.
He explained that this is the regular procedure in such cases, and that the oral briefing will also become part of the official documentation.
As for the possible additions to Mladic's indictment, he recalled that the amendments to the indictment have already been sent to the ICTY in May, 2010, and added that there are no new proposals for additions to the charges. The judges have the proposal from the last year, Brammertz's advisor explained.
