Representatives of Serbs from several Kosovo municipalities met in the town of Zvecan (northern Kosovo) Monday to demand the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue to be terminated, President of the North Kosovska Mitrovica municipality Krstimir Pantic told Tanjug on the same day.
Pantic said that the meeting's participants had rejected an agreement on three issues that had been reached in the dialogue, accusing it of treason against national interests since they believed that the agreement recognized documents of the self-proclaimed independent state of Kosovo.
Pantic said the meeting had been attended by representatives of the municipalities of Strpce (a town in southern Kosovo), Priluzje (a village in central Kosovo), Gracanica (a town in central Kosovo) and of municipalities from the north of Kosovo-Metohija.
They requested from the Serbian government to terminate its dialog with Pristina, as they saw the process as not only being against the interests of the Serbs, but also as favoring the creation of another Albanian state in this region.
“Serbs from Kosovo-Metohija demand from the Serbian government to cancel the hospitality to EULEX, which showed that it was not status-neutral and that it operated in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244,” said Pantic.
