Monday night was quiet in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), with local Serbs protesting against the unilateral attempts by Pristina to establish control over that part of the province by blocking roads leading to central Serbia.

The Serbs spent their eighth night in a row behind roadblocks they set up in the village of Zupce, Zubin Potok municipality, on the road to the administrative crossing Brnjak, in the village of Rudare, Zvecan municipality, and in the town of Leposavic on the road leading to the Jarinje crossing.

Three Serbian officials spent the night in Kosovo, namely, Minister for KiM Goran Bogdanovic, Head of Belgrade's negotiating team in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Borislav Stefanovic and advisor to the Serbian president Jovan Ratkovic. The officials should resume their talks with KFOR Commander Erhard Buehler Tuesday.
