Uzice area shaken by minor earthquake

The region of Uzice (western Serbia) was hit by an earthquake measured 2.9 units on the Richter Scale, on Monday at 11.29 p.m. local time, the Seismological Survey of Serbia published on their website.

The region of Uzice (western Serbia) was hit by an earthquake measured 2.9 units on the Richter Scale, on Monday at 11.29 p.m. local time, the Seismological Survey of Serbia published on their website.

The intensity of the tremor at the epicenter was 4 units on the Mercalli Scale.

Such earthquakes do not cause any damage to buildings.
