Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric will pay a two-day visit to the Kingdom of Belgium on 11 and 12 October with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation and improving institutional relations between the two countries.

During the visit, Ciric will meet with Minister of Economy of the Brussels-Capital Region Benoit Cerexhe, companies Greenworks, Delhaize Group, Electrawinds, Metes, Puratos, InBev, some of which are already present and operating successfully in Serbia, as well as with a number of potential investors and regional agencies for the promotion of exports, FIT (Flanders) and Awex (Wallonia).
The Minister of Economy and Regional Development will also attend the Open days of the regions of Europe, which will be attended by representatives from the regions of Kragujevac, Nis and Vojvodina, which opened an office in Brussels.
Belgium is the 18th largest investor in Serbia with $72 million in the period from 2000 to 2010, reads a statement by the Ministry.
