Incident leaves 23 children and 2 teachers injured

An incident which occurred during demonstration of the Counter-terrorist Unit of the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) left 23 pupils and two teachers lightly injured, MUP officials released.

An incident which occurred during demonstration of the Counter-terrorist Unit of the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) left 23 pupils and two teachers lightly injured, MUP officials released.

According to the release, the incident occurred as the air vortex caused by the propellers of a helicopter landing at the Jagodina stadium knocked down a billboard, which then hit the eastern stand.

Eight of the injured children were kept at the paediatric ward of the Jagodina hospital, but none of them suffered serious injuries. Jagodina Mayor Dragan Markovic visited the injured children in the hospital.
