At the conference dubbed "Challenges and achievements of the regional and transnational cooperation in the fight against organized crime in Southeastern Europe", Tadic pointed out that the regional cooperation in combating organized crime has the greatest strategic significance, and added that Serbia wants to offer support to all countries interested in taking part in the fight.

President Tadic stated that the absolute determination in the fight against organized crime was manifested only after the forming of the last government, adding that organized crime knows very well that in Serbia it can only come across hostility and systemic war.

Opening a regional conference on cooperation in the fight against organized crime, Tadic said that the ties between political structures and organized crime, which were a characteristic of the society in the 90s, have been cut.
