The opposition Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) asked Tuesday why the government does not convene a parliament session that would be devoted to a debate on the situation in Kosovo and Metohija.
SNS issued a statement in response to Tuesday's statement by the leading party in the ruling coalition, the Democratic Party, in which SNS was accused of political cowardice and failure to openly declare its stand on Kosovo.
SNS said that democrats are actually responsible for the absence of a Serbian national consensus on the southern province.
SNS requested a parliamentary session to find out what was agreed with mentors and Pristina.
