Maric announced that the Serbia's Emergency Situations Headquarters will hold a session on Friday at 3 p.m. to discuss the current situation in terms of snowfalls, ice sheets on rivers, and saving power i.e. drafting a proposal on non-working days in the coming week.

Maric recalled that an emergency situation has been declared in 38 municipalities in Serbia, and that it is yet to be seen whether the measures will be lifted in the municipalities of Becej and Secanj, north Vojvodina, .

The emergency measures will be in place in all other municipalities until the last households are reached by means of the machinery, Maric said.
