The Serbian dinar went up by 0.2 percent against the hard currency on Friday, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 108.3777 for EUR 1, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) released.

The Serbian currency will be 3.4 percent down on last month, and 4.2 percent down on last year.

Since the beginning of 2012, the dinar hit its highest level against the common European currency on January 11, when the official middle exchange was RSD 103.6922, and its record low on February 10 with the exchange rate at RSD 109.1794.

The indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate is up by 0.2 percent and stands at RSD 82.3414, reflecting a 0.1 percent slide to the month ago, and a 7.2 percent fall to the year before.
