Deputy President of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) and Kragujevac Mayor Veroljub Stevanovic announced Sunday that the party's candidate for the prime minister in the upcoming parliamentary elections would be their leader Mladjan Dinkic.

Stevanovic said that Dinkic was the best person for the prime minister's office, adding that Dinkic had all the qualities of an expert needed to lead the country's economy development and the resolve to carry out necessary reforms, which he had proved since 2000 to date.

The United Regions of Serbia presented their economic program today.

The program offers faster administration, support to small and medium enterprises, elimination of para-fiscal taxes, reform of the VAT system, strengthening of financial institutions, development of a traffic infrastructure and an education system adapted to the needs of the economy.
