The 14 people arrested for inciting riots and setting fire to the U.S. embassy in Belgrade, in February 2008, include two persons charged with stoning the Turkish embassy, Tanjug learned from the prosecutor's office in charge of the case.

The 14 people arrested for inciting riots and setting fire to the U.S. embassy in Belgrade, in February 2008, include two persons charged with stoning the Turkish embassy, Tanjug learned from the prosecutor's office in charge of the case.

The Turkish embassy was attacked on February 17, and the two arrested are suspected of violent behavior, whereas the U.S. embassy was set on fire on February 21, and the perpetrators are charged with severe public order offense.

The suspects are from Novi Sad, Pancevo and Belgrade.

Public Prosecutor Zagorka Dolovac said on Tuesday the police had started an operation to arrest 14 people suspected of involvement in attacks on foreign embassies during the protest in Belgrade in February 2008.
