Bosch will go ahead with its plan to build a factory for the production of windshield wiper systems in Pecinci, Jovanka Jovanovic, CEO of Robert Bosch Serbia, told Tanjug on Friday.

She said the economic crisis would not affect the EUR 70-million project, whose realization should begin in July.

When the company started thinking about where to build a new plant last year, it considered countries in Central and Eastern Europe, particularly in the Western Balkans.

"We chose Serbia primarily because of good infrastructure and access to a qualified labor force, but also for the possibility of cooperation with universities and high schools on training workers for the new plant," added Jovanovic.
