The co-rapporteurs on the Armenian issue of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Axel Fischer and John Prescott will arrive in Armenia July 20, chairwoman of the NA's standing committee on European Integration Naira Zohrabyan said speaking to Armenpress.

She said they have planned this visit beforehand and during it are going to meet with the authorities of the country and members of the Armenian delegation to PACE.

At the fall sitting of PACE scheduled for October the co-rapporteurs will present report on the implementation of commitments by Armenia. "I am very optimistic, and I am almost convinced that it will be a very positive report", Naira Zohrabyan noted, pointing out that her optimism is connected with the reforms carried out in the country, and the amnesty, as well as the reforms on the police and judicial systems.

"They allow us to insist that the main assessments of the co-chairs will be positive", Zohrabyan said.

She also expressed hope that the concerns of the co-rapporteurs expressed recently at the summer sitting will vanish.
