EU High Representative Catherine Ashton has stated in Brussels that the issue of Kosmet was mentioned at the session of the Council for Security and Foreign Policy exclusively in relation to the opinion of counsel of the International Court of Justice, while the acceleration of Serbia’s approach to the EU was not discussed.

I said at the meeting that the future of Serbia and Kosmet was in the EU, Ashton told the press conference. According to her, Belgrade and Pristina should start a dialog, and the EU is still ready to assist in that.
