Russia and the Republic of Serbia will explore the possible construction of diversion from the "South Stream"

Russia and the Republic of Serbia /RS/ within Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a declaration on cooperation on the project "South Stream", providing opportunities to study the construction of drainage pipeline in this country.

Document was signed by Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko and Prime Minister of RS, Milorad Dodik. Power of the planned withdrawal will be 1 billion cubic meters.

As noted in a statement, Prime-TASS, on the basis of Gazprom's strategy to diversify gas supplies to Europe through the project "South Stream" both sides expressed interest in exploring the possibility of the PC supply gas to the project.
