Consumers may be misled for the flight tickets price when using the online service offered on www.terminala.com, which misses to state information about the additional EUR 7 fee for ticket issuing.

Consumers may be misled for the flight tickets price when using the online service offered on www.terminala.com, which misses to state information about the additional EUR 7 fee for ticket issuing.

The warning came from Belgium through the Consumer Protection Cooperation System (CPCS), Bulgaria’s Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) announced.

There is also another violation detected on the website. Despite that the prices are stated in euro, if the passenger book a ticket through US airline and pay with a credit card they will be imposed a fee in US dollars for the currency exchange service. This fee, however, is not mentioned on the site.

The online trader is registered in Spain.

Bulgaria’s CPC will file a signal to the CPCS against Sofia International for unrealized flights from Sofia to Berlin, which caused harm to consumer. The company is based in Germany and is allegedly part of Hamburg International but all attempts to get in touch with the trader turned futile.
