Three US helicopters refuelled on Corfu en route to Souda Bay

Three US military helicopters landed at Corfu’s “Ioannis Kapodistrias” International Airport at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday for about an hour and after refuelling they departed for Souda Bay Naval Station on the island of Crete.

Three US military helicopters landed at Corfu’s “Ioannis Kapodistrias” International Airport at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday for about an hour and after refuelling they departed for Souda Bay Naval Station on the island of Crete.

According to information, the helicopters had taken off from a military base in Italy, probably Naples, destined for Souda Bay within the framework of the NATO operations in Libya.
