Instead of the traditional May Day march, the Association of Trade Unions of Macedonia will launch a campaign on determining the minimal salary for material and social security of workers.

International Labor Day, commemorating the historic struggle of workers throughout the world for enhancement of their rights.

Instead of the traditional May Day march, the Association of Trade Unions of Macedonia will launch a campaign on determining the minimal salary for material and social security of workers.

Movement for social justice "Lenka" organizes May Day protest against violation of workers' rights, the Socialist Party of Macedonia will lay flowers at bust of Vasil Glavinov, founder of the workers and socialist movement in Macedonia, the Liberal-Democratic Party organizes march on right of shares for every citizen, whereas SDSM Women's Club organizes protest titled "No Labor without Respect of Women's Labor".

According to tradition, Macedonian citizens spend the day picnicking throughout the country.
