Albanian and Kosovo Ministers of Interior, Bujar Nishani and Bajram Rexhepi respectively, signed late Saturday in Tirana an agreement on facilitation of bilateral border crossings.

The Kosovo Ministry of Interior said the agreement provides conditions for countries' citizens to cross the border without control, as is the case in the Schengen zone.

Rexhepi stressed the agreement confirmed the excellent inter-state cooperation in the field of freedom of movement, whereas the document's application would increase the number of people travelling from Kosovo to Albania and vice versa in the course of the summer.
