Two people lost their lives and five others were wounded in a car accident in Paper, nearly 15 kilometers far from Elbasan. According to official sources from the police, during Saturday’s morning hours a serious accident happened in the Cerrik-Paper axis, in the place known as “The Black Bridge”.

Police and the investigation group reached immediately the scene of the accident. They evidenced that the vehicle with “CF 853 RF” number-plate lost control, and as a consequence, the driver, Shpend Hysaj, 23 years old, and the passenger, 22-year-old Eriola Kurti, who lived in Librazhd, lost their lives.

Five other passengers were seriously wounded: B. Kullolli, 22 years old, living in Berat; Xh. Tosta, 22 years old, living in Dragostunje-Librazhd; L. Allani, 23 years old, living in Belsh; E. Hysa, 25 years old; O. Shallmi, 23 years old. They were immediately sent to the Surgical Hospital of Elbasan, and they are in a critical state.

The investigation group, which reached immediately the scene of the accident, carried the necessary procedures, from which it resulted that the accident happened because the driver lost control of the vehicle, which crashed with the road’s edgings.
