European Commissioner for Climate Action Connie Hedegaard will be on a visit to Bulgaria on May 13, the EC Representation in this country voiced.

The program of the visit includes a meeting with PM Boyko Borissov and Environmental Minister Nona Karadjova. The guest will also meet representatives of parliamentary committees on environment and water, as well as on EU issues and control over the EU funds.

The EU Commissioner will see NGO and business associations’ representatives too, whose activities are linked to climate and fighting its change.
