Montenegro has about 600,000 inhabitants, but the number of mobile phones in use in the country reached as many as 1,071,387 in May.

Montenegro has about 600,000 inhabitants, but the number of mobile phones in use in the country reached as many as 1,071,387 in May.

Out of the total number of mobile phones, 775,696 are prepaid, and 295,691 are postpaid deals, the portal Analitika learned from the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services of Montenegro.

Telenor mobile operator has 430,521 users, T-Mobile 372,049 and M:Tel 268,817.
