The Central Election Commission (CEC) concluded on Sunday, June 19, the counting process for the ballot boxes of municipal unit no. 2 and no. 3.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) concluded on Sunday, June 19, the counting process for the ballot boxes of municipal unit no. 2 and no. 3.

The 485 ballot boxes that have been opened until now by CEC for three local units provide candidate Lulzim Basha 76 votes more than his rival, Edi Rama.

From the counting process of 128 electoral material boxes, 56 ballot papers were considered valid for the Mayor of Tirana, 36 of which were in favor of candidate Edi Rama and 20 votes were in favor of candidate Lulzim Basha.

The Central Election Commission will continue the counting process for the Zonal Election Commission no. 48 on Monday, at 10:00. Municipal unit no. 4 has 43 voting centers.

Each of the centers has four boxes with electoral materials. During the next week, 1338 ballot boxes will be opened by CEC for 8 municipal units in Tirana.
