550 victims will be buried in Srebrenica on Monday

3,749 victims have been identified and buried so far, and according to data of associations from Srebrenica, the total of 8,372 persons was killed in July 1995. Search after mortal remains of over 4,000 victims is still in process.

About 550 identified Bosniaks will be buried in the Memorial Center Potocari near Srebrenica on Monday, July 11th.

Prior burial of the victims, Peace March which will be attended by around 6,500 people from around the world will be held this year as well.

Participants will walk from Nezuk to Potocari three days, on the same road where Srebrenica citizens tried to runaway to free territory in July 1995, escaping from RS Army commanded by Ratko Mladic.

Organizers announced there would be no speeches of officials this year in Potocari, but that official speeches can be presented outside of sacral part of the Memorial Centre.
