Prime Minister George Papandreou on Tuesday held a round of telephone contacts with the leaders of Parliament-represented political parties, ahead of a crucial eurozone summit on Thursday.

Papandreou spoke with main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Antonis Samaras, Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Secretary General Aleka Papariga, Popular Orthodox Rally (Laos) president George Karatzaferis and Radical Left Coalition (Syriza) parliamentary group president Alexis Tsipras.
